Al Shipp

Chief Executive Officer

A seasoned technology veteran, Al joins 3VR from Apple, where he built a world-class sales and marketing group and led the Enterprise Division to be one of Apple's most profitable business units. Prior to Apple, Shipp served as president of Critical Path, Inc., senior vice president at Inktomi Corporation, and as president of the eCommerce Server and Worldwide Sales Divisions at BEA Systems. Cutting his teeth at one of the world's most successful hardware companies, Al spent 18 years at IBM in roles varying from engineering to sales, ultimately leading a sales business unit responsible for more than $1.8 billion annually. Al earned a degree in Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute. He is a native of Kentucky and now calls California home.

Stephen Russell

Founder and Chairman

A successful entrepreneur, Stephen Russell has built and sold several companies in the streaming media and distributed systems space. He was most recently the Vice President and General Manager of Inktomi, where he ran their Edge Caching Division, which optimized the distribution of high-volume data over the Internet. Stephen previously held senior executive roles at USWeb/CKS and eScene Networks.

Bob Vallone

Executive Vice President, Engineering

Senior executive and technology visionary at several leading technology companies, Bob Vallone most recently served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations at TiVo. He was one of the leaders responsible for creating the revolutionary personal video recording system, its intelligent software applications, and the highly acclaimed TiVo Service. Prior to joining TiVo, Bob held senior positions in research and development and engineering management at HP, GO, and SGI.

Gary Kallman

Senior Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations

A security industry veteran with 25 years of experience, Gary Kallman has held executive positions at Radionics, Inc., Bosch, and Pittway Corporation. Gary joins 3VR from DMP, a privately held independent manufacturer of enterprise intrusion and access control products, where he more than doubled sales revenue within four years as VP of Sales and Marketing.

Jim "Gator" Hudson

Vice President, CrimeDex Services

Frustrated by the lack of collaboration among the law enforcement, financial, retail, insurance, and telecommunications sectors, Jim co-founded the Amcrin Corporation in 2000 to create the CrimeDex network. Nicknamed "Gator" by his first police chief, Jim is a 23-year law enforcement veteran and nationally recognized white-collar crime expert. Jim is a member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI), the California Financial Crimes Investigators Association (CFCIA), the Northwest Fraud Investigators Association (NWFIA) and the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA). He has been awarded the Portland Police Bureau Medal of Valor, the Oregon Peace Officers Association Medal of Honor, the International Narcotics Officers Association Medal for Valor and the Purple Heart.
