3VR INTRODUCES EXPANDED FAMILY OF INTELLIGENT VIDEO MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

San Francisco, California - January 1, 2005 -3VR Security, Inc., developers of the world's first Intelligent Video Management System, today announced the release of a suite of five 3VR appliances designed to meet the diverse needs of corporate security buyers. In addition to the 3VR 800i, 3VR's first product, the company announced a specialized Edge video processing appliance (the 3VR 1600e), and three Core storage and management appliances (the 3VR C2000, C3000, and C6000).

The 3VR 1600e performs video capture and real-time video analysis on up to 16 NTSC or PAL cameras for human presence, faces, and other forms of activity. This information is then passed onto 3VR Core appliances for further analysis. Up to 8 Edge Appliances can be connected to one Core appliance to provide integrated recording, analysis and management across 128 cameras.
