San Francisco, CA – June 06, 2008 – 3VR, the pioneer of Searchable Surveillance, today announced it was selected as Runner Up in the video security category of the “Most Innovative Security Products and Services” competition at the 5th annual The Security Summit on June 4-5, 2008 in San Diego, CA. An international panel of judges selected 3VR’s SmartRecorder from more than 30 competing technologies because of its innovation, direct applicability to current needs in the market, and “dual-use” in the private and government sectors. The competition is a highlight of The Security Summit, an annual event focused on promoting the rapid utilization of innovative, dual-usage security products and services from around the world to support the $1.4 trillion security market.
