Installing the 3VR codec for Windows Media Player, Version 3.0


To install the codec, download the file from the link above to your desktop on your computer, and double-click 3VRcodecWMPv30. Follow the installation wizard prompts to install the codec.


If Windows Media Player launches when clicking on a video, but video does not play:


If video does not play in Windows Media Player after downloading and installing the current 3VR codec for Windows Media Player from the link above, the video you are trying to view may have been exported from an earlier version of 3VR Software.

If the video was exported from a 3VR SmartRecorder running software version 6.0.1.57140 or 6.0.5, click here to download and install the earlier codec version.

If the folder containing the exported video files you wish to view does not contain a README file, click here to download and install the codec required for software releases earlier than version 6.0.1.57140.
